Visit a city centre Church by nightfall\, light a candle with pra
yerful intentions for friends & family. Soak up the spiritual atmosphere o
f live music\, while passers-by take a curious peek. In away\, this is an
invitation to young people searching for peace\, truth & hope. This event
aims to encourage those who may be apprehensive in a somewhat similar way
Nicodemus was\, when he visited Jesus after dusk. 
The an
nual Youth 2000 Christmas weekend retreat will take place in Newbridge. Th
is event is one of the biggest calendar events for young Catholics in Irel
and with attendances of 300 + over the the course of the weekend.
Catholic Youth Mass at St. Mary’s Church\, Stranorlar\, Co. Donegal
this 28th December Sunday 2014 at 5pm. Enjoy the final Sunday of 2014 in T
ir Connell’s county with a youthful liturgy. After the Holy mass there wil
l be a Christmas party in the parish centre. All young people of the Rapho
e diocese are especially welcome. 
The annual Youth 2000 Valentines Ball will be held in
Limerick city. This event is an important day for young Catholics in Irel
and. The evening event is preceded by Mass at 5pm in St Joseph’s Church\,
O’Connell Avenue\, Limerick. After mass their will be reception at the Cla
rion from 7pm onwards. followed by Live Band\, raffle tickets\, and DJ. Fo
rmal dress is much advised for ladies & gents. This will be an enjoyable a
nd fun night not to be missed\, offering the opportunity to meet other you
ng Catholics (age bracket 18-35) from all over Ireland. 
Youth 2000 are vibrant in the UK\, and offer many retreats for
young people throughout the calendar year. Why not hope on a Ryan Air or A
erlingus flight to Leeds\, (just over 1 hour flight away) and enjoy a week
end filled Catholic event in England. Leeds is home to active body of youn
g Catholics who enjoy seeking friendship with the Lord\, and fellowship wi
th other young Catholics.

2000 fellowship experience in Leinster If you are a young Catholic looking
for Christian fellowship\, you’ll find it at our Mullingar retreat. This
event will be a good opportunity to meet up with friends you may have alre
ady met at the Youth 2000 Valentines ball in February. Youth 2000 are prob
ably the most active Catholic fellowship group in Ireland\, and are also q
uite happy to share their faith in a practical & beneficial way.
